Seachem Matrix for the Tidal 35, 55, 75 and 110 Hang On Filters comes supplied pre-bagged in Seachem Zip Bags, which feature durable seams and a corrosion-resistant zipper.
Matrix is a high porosity biomedia that provides efficient biofiltration for the removal of nitrogenous organic waste. Seachem Matrix is a porous inorganic solid about 10 mm in diameter. Matrix provides both external and internal macroporous surface area. Matrix, unlike other forms of biomedia, removes nitrate along with ammonia and nitrite, simultaneously.
Rinse before use. Do not remove Matrix from its mesh bag. Lay mesh bag lengthways and distribute Matrix evenly before placing it in the Tidal filter basket above any chemical filtration.
